4. Sleep position
The way you sleep also has a big effect on your snoring. Most of the times snoring happens when you’re sleeping on your back. Because of gravity, your throat closes and the airway narrows.

As I said if this is left untreated it can lead to more serious health problems like high blood pressure which can increase the risk of heart failure. There’s also the risk of a heart attack, diabetes and obesity. Obesity can also lead to other health problems all over your body, like for instance varicose veins which can cause a lot of pain.
All in all make sure you do something to treat your snoring problem and find a way to get rid of it. A lot of people ignore this but the thing is it doesn’t only affect you it also affects the people around you like for example your life partner who probably cannot get any rest because of your snoring.
